1 Ethnomathematics: Phylogenetic Analysis versus Image Processing Analysis in Determining Geometric Patterns of Ikat weaving in Lake Sebu, Philippines by Ramil Arciosa & Rogie Tuando Ikat weaving has long existed as among the customs and traditions of the ancient people known as T’boli in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. It still exists and utilizes the rich natural and vast resources of the land of dreamweaver who are considered as the major indigenous people in the island of Mindanao. T’nalak, as they call this ikat weaving, also exists in some parts of southeast Asian countries. This study combines descriptive and non-parametric statistics in determining the presence of mathematics in one of their finest works, the hand-woven T’nalak, known as Bed Henda, and one of fifty (50) designs of T’nalak. The coded images formed using the phylogenetic motif and computerized image process in analyzing the Bed Henda geometric patterns have almost the same shape. Its inner shape there is a diamond or oblong type, while, its outer shape is hexagonal or an elongated irregular shape. 06-September-2021 12-November-2021/

2 Impact of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan on the Quality of School Education: A Case study of Ganderbal District in Jammu and Kashmir by Khurshid Ahmad Bhat The purpose of the paper is to study the teacher's profile with respect to- pre-service and in-service experience. The method adopted for this research was a descriptive method and the study comprised 25 primary schools from 4 blocks out of the total 7 blocks of Gandarbal district of Jammu and Kashmir (Gandarbal, Kangan, Lar, and Wakura) each to make a total sample of 100 primary schools and 100 teachers. A self-constructed questionnaire was used to get information regarding Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan implementation from teachers. The result revealed that out of 100 teachers, 84(84%) viewed that there are appropriate student ratios in the classrooms but 16(16%) viewed that there are no appropriate student ratios in the classrooms. Further, it was revealed that out of 100 teachers, 97(97%) viewed that the supervision mechanism of teachers is working effectively in the schools. The study further revealed that the policy adopted in the J&K for the non-detention of students is ineffective. 10-September-2021 20-November-2021/
