Seventy-five lawyers, aged 27-59, from Awka, Onitsha, and Nnewi, Anambra state, Nigeria, were divided into two groups: those who were given alcohol/ethanol and those who were given non-alcohol/ethanol. The experiment involved an independent group design with an audio recorder, red label brandy, La Casera soft drink, and a poem CD. Participants were expected to listen, memorise, and recall keywords. The Z-test was used for analysis, and results showed no significant impact of alcohol/ethanol on immediate recall of meaningful materials between alcohol/ethanol Lawyer consumers. The study found no significant impact of alcohol/ethanol on delayed recall of meaningful materials, immediate recall, or delayed recall across lawyers' genders. However, there was a significant difference in the extent of delayed recall outcomes across lawyers' genders. The study recommends installing alcohol detectors in all courtrooms to eliminate its influence on judiciary deliberations. 15-December-2023 05-February-2024/

Scholars that link HRM and CSR rarely explain their understanding of their connection or the assumptions they make on the HR’s role to work efficiently and be able to contribute significantly for the organization, when investigating this relationship. Thus, a thorough evaluation of the literature on the CSR-HRM nexus is both relevant and required, that underpins our research by the lifeline thrown to us by HR professionals. There has been a growing, but still limited, realization of the connection between the two, the understanding of it is enabled through review, which enabled gain more explicit and thorough understandings of HRM-CSR, thereby improving theoretical and empirical research on the decided topic. A thorough assessment and conceptual analysis of previous and current publications relating HRM and CSR helps to focus on the perspectives on HRM-CSR research. The purpose of this work is to show the variety of perspectives on HRM-CSR and to create a conceptual map for navigating and organizing future research. The relationship between businesses and society has evolved over time. [1] There is growing concern about how business should be conducted. Businesses are progressively expected to generate financial, societal, and eco-friendly benefits for the communities in which they operate. CSR and entrepreneurship present a variety of problems for human resource management and leadership in firms. The HRM paradigm is built on a logical strategic management framework that aligns with classical economic analysis. [2] This paradigm is limited in situations where corporations aim to act ethically in relation to a variety of internal and external stakeholders, as well as to take a longer-term approach when dealing with CSR concerns. With rising proof of the influence of CSR and sustainability on business performance, corporate organizations around the world are more aware than ever of the importance of sustainable business practices. Given the unique significance of the Human Resource function (HR) in firms, as well as its relationship with executive management and employees, HR professionals play a crucial role in superintendent their organizations to become more on a social basis responsible and sustainable. 5 China's Belt and Road Initiative: Analysing Diplomatic Impacts and Challenges by Dr. Anjali Sehrawat The goal of China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), also known as the "New Silk Road" or the "Silk Road Economic Belt," is to improve global connectivity by reviving ancient trade routes. The BRI is a network of land and sea routes that crosses Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The "Road" refers to the Maritime Silk Road, which connects China's southern coast to Africa, the Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia by sea. The "Belt" is the Silk Road Economic Belt, which connects China to Central Asia and Europe by land. To enable trade over the contemporary Silk Road, the program calls for the construction of ports, pipelines, bridges, electricity grids, and railroads. Despite the ambitious goals and potential benefits of China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), there exist significant impacts and challenges that need to be addressed. These include concerns related to sovereignty, debt sustainability, geopolitical tensions, and the potential for unequal economic benefits among participating countries. This paper aims to analyse these diplomatic impacts and challenges in the context of China's BRI, shedding light on its implications for global trade dynamics and international relations. Furthermore, examining how other Western countries are responding with their infrastructure plans in the face of China's BRI adds a comparative perspective to this complex global phenomenon. The research methodology employed in this paper involves a comprehensive review and analysis of existing literature, including academic studies, policy papers, and media reports, to examine the diplomatic impacts and challenges associated with China's Belt and Road Initiative. By synthesizing insights from diverse sources, this study provides a nuanced understanding of the complexities surrounding the BRI and its implications for global trade and diplomacy. 05-January-2023 20-March-2024/
