Nigeria’s Social Media
Culture: Exploring Civic Participation of Youths in the 2015
Presidential Election by Doris Ngozi Morah, Ph.D. and
Chinwe Elizabeth Uzochukwu, Ph.D. |
The global expansions in the use
of social media accessed on mobile technologies have brought
about extraordinary opportunities in society and enabled a
new trend in political communication, especially among
youths. Interestingly, a new public sphere of social
connectedness and discussion is apparently developing, with
the dawn of social media in Nigeria. The political
participation of Nigerian youth and their presence on social
media via mobile technologies was, therefore, put on
scholarship radar in order to determine how much influence it
exerts on the polity. Using survey research method and hinged
on the Technological Acceptance Model, this study
investigated how young people in three states of Enugu,
Anambra and Ogun states were politically stimulated to
participate during the 2015 Presidential Elections with
respect to their social media presence accessed on mobile
technologies. After a survey of 300 youths, purposively
selected from the three selected states, results indicate
that numerous mobile text messages and social media updates
sent by politicians during the campaign influenced their
voting decisions, though with a minimal effect. The study,
thus, recommends that media educate the polity on the
potentialities of mobile technologies in governance so that
they can effectively utilize it as a political communication
tool for political development in Nigeria. |

Incidence Charge and
Force System for Two Zone by Hardik Patel & Kamlesh Modi |
The consumption of energy
results in need of energy and the more generation of power in
different power systems. To produce much and effective power,
the generating units has to be controlled and secured. Load
frequency control is one of the control methods of generating
units. In this control system, frequency and active power are
controlled. In order to achieve the controlling principle of
a given power system, some steps should be followed. This
review paper explains the steps to control both frequency and
active power. Under this paper; modeling of the power system,
the types of controllers to be used and the optimization
techniques used to maintain the power system parameters are
discussed. |

Survey: Sole Image per
Individual Issue in Face Identification by Dr. C.B Kumar |
Face recognition is type of
biometric used to identify a human being. The advantage of
Face recognition compared to another recognition method such
as finger print recognition are palm print recognition is
there is no physical contact between face and image capturing
device. In Face recognition there are lot issues are there.
One of the major issues in Face recognition problem is one
sample problem. One sample problem exists in passport,
driving license etc. Lot of algorithms developed to solve
this one sample issue. Techniques like svd, qr,sdd and gabor
filter approach have been developed. But recognition rate and
training time is still a challenging problem. Here all the
methods are analysed based on their performance. |

Compact Scale Venture
SME: A Stimulant for Solvent and Domestic Development by
Dr.Denzel Mark |
The performance and
effectiveness of small and medium scale enterprises, equity
investment scheme (SMEEIS) as an instrument of economic
growth and development in Nigeria has long been close
examination. The study was carried out using primary and
secondary methods in the collection of data, where in primary
data, the researcher designed and advanced questionnaires.
The data collected from the questionnaire was analyzed in
tables with simple percentage and interpreted for the
understanding of the study. The researcher used a sample
random sampling method of selection. The procedure for
analyzing the data for this research are as follows; Ordinary
Least Square (OLS).Co-Integration: which is a statistical
property of a collection (XI, X2,. XK) of time series
variables, the study Findings it becomes apparent that the
study reveals that deposit money bank lending, on SME's
development and growth , indices presented in the model are
capable of influencing SME's output. The study recommends
amongst others that government should enforce and reinforce
SME's scheme,(SMEEIS) and, small and medium enterprises
credit guarantee scheme (SMECGS) to promote needed economic
and National Development. |

Characteristic and RFID
form of Two Wheeler Vehicle Agitation Structure by Dr.
Ashish Ratre & Dr. Kushal Chilte |
This project deals with
Fingerprint and RFID based two wheeler vehicle ignitions
system, it is used for security purpose of two wheeler
vehicle. When fingerprint and RFID is authorized only then
can start vehicle ignition. When we place our finger on
fingerprint module, it cross check the images of fingerprint
which are saved in its database and after fingerprint matches
RFID Reader is on then signals goes to ATMEGA16 and this
signals gives to the relay, relay becomes on then signals
from relay gives to ECU system. Then our vehicle ignition
starts. |

Relative Examination on
Variables of RIP and OSPF via Simulator GNS3 by Sophia Diaz |
From the past few decades, the
use of internet has been increased dramatically. This
increase leads to add a large number of devices in the entire
network. These devices need IP address to route their data
packets over the internet. Routing protocols are required to
route these data via routers. An effective and secure
communication depends upon the good usage of routing protocol
in the entire network. There are several routing protocols
like RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, ISIS, etc. Every routing
protocols has its own features of routing packets. The
comparative study of two interior gateway routing protocols
OSPF and RIP is presented in the paper. Distance vector
routing algorithm is used in RIP while link-state routing
algorithm is used in OSPF. |

Approach of Examine Work
in the Industry by Bagaskoro Zani |
The paper presents various basic
aspects of Research and Development (R&D), the role of R&D in
the industrial world especially in the context of R & D in
Iran Industry. Many industrial problems can be resolved
through research and development. Iran is basically oil
producing and exporting country and most of its economic
activities are based on oil-related industries. Research and
Development in the industry is the need of the hour, as many
changes in the industry are possible through R&D like
machinery, funding, and other organizational problems, etc.
The application of research and development is necessary, and
we must pay attention to its implementation in the industry.
Today, technology and other sciences, in addition to
research, need to be developed. Research and development can
be considered as one of the success stories. Research and
development are applied in all sciences, but its application
varies according to the type of discipline. Most professional
people consider research and development as a requirement for
industrial work. In all paper explains the various aspects of
research and development in the industrial sector. |
